Support VRBO Messaging Integration for a Unified Inbox

Description:

Sparrow Intel currently integrates with Airbnb messaging. For operators who manage listings across multiple OTAs [non-pms users], this means guest conversations directly from VRBO are not available in Sparrow, so agents must work out of two separate inboxes: Sparrow for Airbnb guests, and VRBO's own platform for VRBO guests.

For example, an agent handling the day's guest messages can respond to Airbnb inquiries directly in Sparrow, but for any VRBO reservation they have to leave Sparrow, log into VRBO, and respond there. This splits the team's attention across platforms, makes it harder to maintain consistent response times, and increases the risk of a VRBO message being missed.

Requested Enhancement:

  • Integrate VRBO messaging directly into Sparrow so that VRBO guest conversations appear alongside Airbnb conversations.

  • Allow agents to read and respond to both Airbnb and VRBO guests from a single unified inbox.

  • Bring the same conversation features available for Airbnb (assignment, labels, filtering, AI assistance) to VRBO conversations.

Benefit:

A single inbox spanning both OTAs would eliminate platform switching for multi-channel operators, help maintain consistent response times across all guests, reduce the risk of missed VRBO messages, and let the team manage their entire guest communication workflow from one place.
