Allow Labeling From Within an Open Conversation

Description:

Labels can currently only be applied from the main inbox list view. To label a conversation, an agent has to leave the conversation they are in, return to the inbox, locate that conversation, and apply the label from there. There is no way to add a label while the conversation itself is open.

For example, an agent reading a guest message that turns out to be a maintenance issue cannot tag it on the spot β€” they have to go back to the inbox, find the conversation again, and label it from the list.

Requested Enhancement:

  • Allow labels to be added and removed directly from within an open conversation.
  • Keep label management available in the conversation view, not only the inbox list.
  • Preserve the existing inbox labeling as well, so both entry points work.

Benefit:

Labeling from inside the conversation would remove an unnecessary round trip to the inbox, letting agents categorize conversations in the moment and keeping their workflow uninterrupted.
